Understanding a COA

  1. Lot number — unique batch id on the vial; opens the Research Vault.
  2. Identity — analytical evidence consistent with the expected compound (commonly mass spectrometry).
  3. Purity — chromatographic purity for the released lot (commonly HPLC).
  4. Test / release dates — when the lot was analyzed and released for distribution.
