Testing methodology

How identity and purity concepts appear in research-material documentation. Method details on a given lot always defer to that lot’s certificate.

Identity

Identity testing asks whether analytical evidence is consistent with the expected compound. Mass spectrometry is commonly used for this purpose in peptide and related research-material workflows. Results should be read with the method context provided on the certificate.

Purity

Purity testing estimates the relative abundance of the primary analyte under defined chromatographic conditions. HPLC is a common technique. Reported percentages are method-dependent and lot- specific.

Third-party laboratories

When lots are tested by independent laboratories, batch pages should identify the testing context available for that release. PEPerchini Scientific does not invent laboratory names, accreditation seals, or results that are not in the lot record.
